Kobelco Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd (KCEI) was one of the Main Sponsors of this year’s EXCON held at Bengaluru, India from the 12th to 16th Dec’17.
The main theme for the event was POWER meets EFFICIENCY, which happens to be the tag line for the Generation 10 Series. This year also marks the completion of 10 great years for the KOBELCO Brand in India. The Company has been able to establish itself as a reliable player with a strong support network of Dealers having over 120 touchpoints across the country. The Company is upbeat about its plans for the Indian Construction Equipment(CE) market.
It has seen a substantial rise in its sales in the past two years and production capacity at the manufacturing unit located at SriCity has been augmented to cater to the increased demand. KCEI displayed the new 38-Ton Generation-10 Hydraulic Excavator model SK380XDLC which was introduced in the Indian market just before EXCON.
This machine comes with several benefits to the Customer making it a preferred choice for most of the tough mining applications. Fuel efficiency is taken to a new level and output is increased with larger heavy duty Buckets. KCEI also displayed the SK220XDLC-10 model introduced earlier this year.
However, the focus was on the 50-feet Long-reach Attachment, which is being promoted by the Company as an optional attachment for some relatively new site applications. This latest Generation 10 model has been very well received in India for its great Value for Money USP.
The heavy-duty high-performance Okada Rock Breaker range was on display. The Kobelco Stall was shared, as usual, by the Cranes team, which is now merged into KCEI as part of a global strategy. A 100 Ton capacity Crawler-mounted Crane model CKL 1000i was displayed at the Stall. Kobelco Cranes are the market leader in their served market segment. Top officials from Kobelco Construction Machinery, Japan visited the Kobelco Stall on this very important occasion.
